Col. J.J. Carroll, Jr., commanding officer, Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport, Calif., addresses the Marines of 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Logistics Group and Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 466 at the conclusion of Mountain Exercise 6-13. Since the 1980s, thousands of Marines have met in the MCMWTC theater to receive instruction and conduct after-action reviews to improve operational capabilities. The MCMWTC multi-purpose building that includes the base theater will undergo a renovation over the next year.
