A Marine conducts assault climber training in the Big-Face area of the Leavitt Training Area at an elevation of more than 8,000 ft. Marines train during the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Assault Climbers Course to establish safe climbing lanes for Marines to maneuver over cliffs and steep-earth.
