Personnel in the grades of E-1 through E-5, WO-1 through CWO-2, O-1 through 0-3, and all accompanied OCONUS personnel will be assigned a sponsor. Other service members will be assigned a sponsor upon request. The unit Sponsor Coordinator will assist the transferring Service Member in requesting a sponsor form the gaining command using enclosure (1) NAVMC 11799 (11-11) (EF), Sponsorship request form.
Steps to request a sponsor:
1. Open and fill out the NAVMC 11799 (NAVMC 11798 as well if you have children).
2. Turn in the completed Sponsorship Request Form to your unit Sponsorship Coordinator.
3. Have your unit Sponsorship Coordinator contact the MCMWTC Sponsorship Coordinator at 760-932-1429.
